Privacy policy

Builds Forge is a reference site. You can use it without an account. Discord login is optional and only used to publish community builds. We show no ads or trackers.

What data we process

Visitors who only browse give us no personal data: there are no forms or comments, and we do not use Google Analytics, tracking pixels or advertising cookies. If you sign in with Discord to publish builds, we process your Discord identifier, public name and avatar (never your email or password), and we store the builds you publish.

Cookies

We store the NEXT_LOCALE cookie, with the language you picked (1 year), and, if you sign in with Discord, a session cookie (bf_session, 30 days) to keep you signed in. They only serve the site's operation, do not identify anyone outside it and are not shared with third parties.

Hosting and technical logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. As with any web server, Cloudflare may process your IP address and technical request data (such as your browser) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This is outside our control; see Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Game data

Build statistics are computed from a sample of public fights from the Albion Online API. We do not store player names, identifiers, guilds or alliances, nor the fights themselves: fights are counted and discarded, and only aggregated gear statistics remain.

External links

The site links to external pages (for example, sources and licenses). We do not control what those pages do with your data.

Your rights

If you do not sign in with Discord, we hold no personal data about you. If you did, you can delete your builds on the site and ask for your record and builds to be erased. If you have questions, or believe information about you appears here, email us at [email protected].

Changes

If the site starts using advertising or visitor statistics, this page will be updated beforehand and the date above will change.
