Set after the defeat of Archimonde. It works as a level 60 endgame zone and is where the 20-player raid Hyjal Summit is based. Its areas have no level in the game data.

How it works

  • A level 60 endgame zone in northern Kalimdor, set after the defeat of Archimonde.
  • The main way in is Darkwhisper Gorge, which the original game placed in Winterspring: WoW Forever builds a real road that connects the two.
  • The nine areas are the targets of the Explore Mount Hyjal achievement.
  • Blizzard confirmed two new reputations tied to the zone. The questline covers the forest recovering from corruption, the state of the wild gods and a new threat draining power near the summit.
  • It hosts Hyjal Summit, a 20-player raid at the top of the mountain, and one of the three entrances to Barrow Deeps, a 10-player raid. Both open on 9 December 2026.
