Zephras Isle

Levels 3 to 12

A floating island and the starting zone of the Skyborne, with 27 named areas from level 3 to level 12.

How it works

You wake in Thendal Grove, in the north, take your first levels around it and follow the road south to Shen'dar Village, in the middle of the island. The zone ends at Valanaar, on the south coast.
Horde Skyborne start in Thendal Village instead.
The story is about the wind spirits that disappeared from the island: you control local wildlife, gather Windstones, look into restless wind sprites and help the nearby villages.
From Valanaar the quests spread to the rest of the island: Windfield Orchard, Gustberry Lowlands, Shadowgale Forest, the Shrine of Akir and the area around the Sanctum of Storms.
The Windshapers want the wind spirits back; the High Order wants to relearn the arcane magic it lost. Which version you play only changes the lore and the faction, not the zone.
