How to pick the right build for your content
Solo, small-scale, mid-size group or ZvZ: the same weapon can be great in one and weak in another.
Updated October 2026
Pick the content first
A build that is strong in ZvZ can be bad when playing solo. That is why Builds Forge splits everything by content type: Solo, Small-scale, Mid-size group and ZvZ in the open world, plus instanced PvP and PvE. Start by choosing where you will play, and only then look at the weapon.
Read the Meta Builds
The Meta Builds page shows the weapons and builds that win the most on the chosen server and content. Win rate shows how much the build wins above or below what is expected for its gear level (50% is as expected). Popularity tells you how many players using the same weapon run that build.
Open the recommended build
Every weapon has a recommended build page per content type, with the best piece for each slot, the most frequently picked skills and an explanation of what each skill does. If a piece has alternatives that win almost the same, they appear right below.
Be wary of small samples
A build at the top with few fights may just be luck. Give more weight to builds with plenty of use. The numbers on the site are smoothed to reduce this effect, but they are still a sample of real fights, not a guarantee.
